Terms of Service
These terms govern TheCopyWall at thecopywall.com, operated by Direct Response Industries, LLC. By creating an account or using the library you agree to them. Effective September 18, 2026.
1. What the library is
TheCopyWall is a research library of direct-response promotions: a signal board of what is being mailed, dossiers on offers and the houses that sell them, screenshots and excerpts of public sales pages, transcripts of publicly available video sales letters, and readings of the copy. It exists so that writers, marketers and researchers can study how persuasive copy is built.
The promotions in the library were published to the public by their owners. They remain their owners' property. We document them for research, education, commentary and criticism.
2. Your licence
A membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to view and study the library. It does not give you the right to:
- republish, redistribute, resell or share transcripts, dossiers, screenshots, readings or data from the library, in whole or in part, outside your own study;
- copy a promotion's text into your own copy or your clients' copy;
- scrape, crawl, bulk-download or mirror any part of the library, or share your credentials;
- use the library to build a competing database or product.
3. Accounts and billing
You must be 18 or older. Paid plans are billed by Stripe under its own terms at the prices shown on the pricing page; they renew until cancelled, and cancellation stops the next renewal without refunding the current period. We may change plans and prices with notice.
4. Third-party content and takedown
Copyright in every promotion belongs to its publisher; trademarks belong to their owners. Nothing in the library is endorsed by, or affiliated with, the houses it documents. A rights holder who believes their work appears here in a way the law does not allow may use the process at /dmca; we act on valid notices.
5. Readings and signals are descriptive
Copy readings, scores, signals and trends describe how a promotion is built and how widely it is being mailed. They are not predictions of results, judgments of the products or offers documented, or claims about any publisher's revenue. Nothing in the library is investment, financial, legal or medical advice; many promotions documented here sell financial newsletters and health products, and the library takes no position on their claims.
6. Our intellectual property
The library's organisation, dossiers, readings, instruments, signal methods, names and this site are owned by Direct Response Industries, LLC and its licensors. Instruments: Peitho Science. You may quote short excerpts of our own readings with attribution.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
The library is provided as is and as available; captures may be incomplete or out of date. To the fullest extent the law allows, Direct Response Industries, LLC disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
8. Termination, changes, law
You may close your account at any time; we may close an account that breaks these terms. We may revise these terms, changing the effective date above and announcing material changes on the site or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland; disputes are brought in its courts. Questions: legal@vslstudio.pro.
